TGIF - YEAH!!!!!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Going to pick up the grandson and make cookies this weekend. Doesn't that sound like fun? I wish I could still go my grandma's house and make cookies and stuff. I sure do miss them. Anyway, it is time to leave now......talk to you next week. :)

Annual Physical

Went to the doctor today and had an annual physical. Did my bloodwork in November, so I got the results today at the appointment. Gained a little weight, but all in all, I am healty. My blood pressure was real good. Glucose was lower than last time. HDL was higher than last time and LDL was lower. Triclycerides were also lower by about 50 points (YEAH!!!!). I just hate going to these things, but today resulted in no lectures (other than to quit smoking, as usual) and a general feeling of greatness. Just a reminder to all you ladies out there. Don't forget to go get your boobies mashed this year! LOL

MURPHY'S LAW

Don't you just hate it when something could go wrong and it does? I am sure most of us have felt this way at some time or another. We usually blame this on Murphy's Law. Last week my son's truck developed a transmission fluid leak. Pretty bad from all indications of the red fluid on the parking lot. I just hope that it is just a leak and not a potential problem with the transmission in general. I am having it towed today for the unbelievable bargain of $75.00 for 30 miles. The faltering economy has reached our towing specialists, even with the gas prices so low. Luckily I had the $75.00 to spend. More to come.........
